Schedule of Events

1800 – Informal Social Gathering, Granary Room (cash bar)
The afternoon’s festivities will begin with a social hour for Society members and their guests to greet one another and enjoy libations. At 1500 attendees will be treated to a three-course meal in the Oak Room. A truly stunning setting, the Oak Room overlooks Boston Common and provides one of the most enchanting views of the city.
We are privileged to announce musical entertainment will be provided during dinner by Mr. Willaim (Sid) Tracey. He will be dressed to the hilt and promises to enliven the gathering with festive holiday sing-along favorites. A rumor abounds that a certain “surprise guest’ may make an early holiday appearance to spread cheer.
Reservations for this event are necessary due to space limitations. As such, walk-ins will not be honored. An early reply to this announcement is strongly recommended.
The price will be $70.00 per person. The Union Club rooms limit the number of reservations to ninety people. As a result, reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first- serve basis. Accordingly, each member of the Society may bring one guest.
- Mail reservations and payment must be in the hands of the Society Secretary no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 7 December 2021.
- Online ticketing is available until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 7 December 2021.
If you have made a reservation and discover that you will be unable to attend, please notify Secretary J.C. Johnson at 617-365-8547. He will return your check if the final payment to the Union Club has not been made. Timely notification will allow wait-listed members an opportunity to attend.
On-street parking is extremely limited in the vicinity of the Union Club. There are two area garages located on upper Tremont Street near the State House office buildings and the Boston Common Underground Garage will be available. All are within a reasonable walk to the Union Club. If arriving by MBTA, take the red or green line to the Park Street Station, from which the Union Club is a half-block away in the direction of the Massachusetts State House.
